-------Amateur Photographer-------------Professional Compositor------
Andrew's Photography approach is towards Artistic and Surreal, he is not only making photograph directly from camera and also been through digital process like compositing / manipulation. When he has an idea that can't achieve directly from camera he will create the image with Photoshop, shooting all live elements by himself if possible, without using any computer generated image (3D). With his nearly 10 years of compositing experience in the advertising industry, he is not only making a living from it but also doing off-work photography in personal life as passion.
His creativity mostly comes from his daily life experience and surrounding circumstances. Sometimes inspiration from flea markets, interior magazines and books.
Being a passionate photographer, he often travels to many places with his camera to explore new visual and idea.
His interests in photography started during his study at Dasein Academy of Art, 10 years ago when compositing wasn't common in many colleges / universities in Malaysia and he has no idea what is't about, so he major in 3D animation. He later found his interest in the photography class. He was fascinating by the art of Lomography so he used to spend a lot of money in buying films and process to explore the different outcome of images with different type of films and Lomo cameras. After graduated from college, he got a chance to work in the advertising industry as a Compositor, learning from scratch to made him what he is today.
His goal is to create images that people would enjoy looking at it, telling a story with an image of thousand words and both artistically inspired and technically excellent.
